It sounds good, but on the leads I don’t know what the effect is but i think it’s a little bit too heavy. Sounds good though!!

  2. drummer says:

I liked second “Slower Pass” better.

  4. Andrew says:

The first posted song i think is a litle too heavy, maybe if you could change the amp to a little bit lighter though…. i like the solos on both though. =D

  5. sguitar says:

I like the second Pass better.

  6. isteve says:

You guys want to work on writing another song? Something a little more pop alternative sound.

  7. isteve says:

sguitar how about we do something with the song your writing with he open chords and the Dm7 thing… ya know what I talking about?

  8. isteve says:

    sguitar = http://nsagarage.wordpress.com/ cool.

If you guys ever want to stay after school of stay during a half and play around with the macbooks/audio interface/garageband and record some song ideas let me know. I’ll ask Mr Collins and if it’s cool with your parents we could set you up in the library or music room. Well as long as no one spills any soda 😉

  9. sguitar says:

😛 😛 😛 I tripped on the chord, LOL. Yeah, I wouldn’t mind using the song, but I’m still working on it.

  10. Andrew says:

Ok. thats fine to stay and do stuff.

  11. Andrew says:

    The MP3 worked. Thanks!!!!! =D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. sguitar says:

I wrote some lyrics for Pass, not that they are any use to you but…

  13. isteve says:

Could be real useful if you could sing it at the talent show…

sguitar could you come tuesday for your lesson, I may have to attend a training session on the Promethean boards.

  14. Andrew says:

Lol. We have a half day on the 10th. I don’t know if your free that day or if its ok with Mr. Collins but… just letting you know. =D

  15. Yeah, I’m coming to Tuesday anyway because I have babysitting course on the next to Wednesdays.

On another note we have a singer lined up. Just have to find time to practice……………………

  16. Andrew says:

So are we going to be staying after school on the 10th? I pretty sure im free.

  17. isteve says:

Not a problem, may want to bring some lunch or money for subway.

  18. sguitar says:

I can stay on Friday. When do you want us to be picked up? Doesn’t matter for me.

  19. isteve says:

Doesn’t matter to me. Do you think you guys could waste a hour helping me run software updates on all the macbook’s?

  20. sguitar says:

    No, I don’t mind that.

I don’t know if you fix amps but I haev a VOX Concert 501 that needs some fixing…We would pay for any of the parts that are needed. I don’t need it anytime soon so if you feel like you want to fix it, it can be at your own pace. I’m pretty sure its a tube amp.

Just something for you to think about.

  21. isteve says:

Vox 501 real sweet amp and extremely loud. It’s definitely a tube amp and uses the same tubes as my 100 watt marshall.

I do mess around with tubed amps, youtube vid on my blackheart amp I modified http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrifLYO5VQk&feature=channel_page

I could try some different tubes and check the speaker wiring and transformers. But many old amps that die usually have a simple crack tube socket or a bad condenser both things easy to replace but hard to get. I’ll be happy to test it out over the weekend. That amp is worth fixing if you need a repair it shouldn’t cost to much.

  22. sguitar says:

OK thanks! I’ll bring it tomorrow. 😀 😀

  23. Andrew says:

I can’t find any software that allows me to make it into a file or it wont let me download enough of it…..
