I just ordered a Ibanez ukulele. Yeppers thats what I said a ukulele. I don’t know much about ukus other then they’ve been getting pretty popular lately maybe because of Trains hey soul sister who knows. Anyway after some research I decided on a tenor or concert size and surfed to musicians friend and saw a beautiful Ibanez concert uku. Being a Ibanez fan I pushed the buy button. Looking forward to getting it and learning how to play it.
So I got a hour or two of uku playing and it’s one of those instruments that just make you smile. I’m not sure why you smile but you do, at least I do.
Ok first the ukulele is tuned 4th string G (this is a high G one step down from the first string) 3rd C, 2nd E and first A. So most chords forms I know on guitar don’t work on the uku. Also the G string goes out of tune a lot, could be the weather or just not stretch to where it’s happy yet.
Well I recorded a few bars from a few of the songs I learned and figures I’d post them and see if it make you smile. The first one is Creep by Radiohead if you know this very dark emo driven song of sadness and despair then you’ll definitely get a smile. The second I’m sure, ah I hope you recognize .

Actually it would just be easier to have it at 3 so that you didnt have to leave then come back to the school just for our lessons. Which ever you think would be easier 3:00 or 4:30.
Actually it would be better to do 4:30, if people knew I was still in the school a 3 they would keep asking me to work on there computers.
